Just to say how grateful we are for the part you played in making my wife’s 60th Birthday Party so special last weekend.
As you know we had previously booked you for my own 60th Birthday Celebration last year (a sixties fancy dress night) as a sixties music specialist. You made a coherent montage of my long list of suggestions to produce a memorable evening of music which many of the guests remarked was an excellent choice. There were plenty of opportunities for the more lively to wear themselves out of the dance floor just as important was the contribution you made in making everyone feel at ease and accommodating party goers requests.
Last weekend I suspect was more of a challenge being a Hollywood Glamour Night which required a broader spread of styles of music and short notice requests as well as fitting in speeches and awards. You ensured everything ran seamlessly together switching effortlessly from ambient film score music to full on disco Motown rock and group dancing classics (Whigfield etc). Everyone was made to feel comfortable and at home and the night was another roaring success.
I know I thanked you on the night but I just wanted to back it up with a written considered appraisal.
You are very professional prompt, starting at the agreed time and always running over the agreed finish time while also being friendly and putting everyone at their ease bringing your own special touch to the proceedings.
I would be happy for you to use this should anyone require a reference from a satisfied customer. Although I would prefer that you don’t publish my contact details I would be happy for you to pass my details on to anyone who asks for them should they wish to contact me further.
I don’t organise many social functions but you can be rest assured that you will be top of my list to ask for the next one.

This year we booked our Christmas Party at the Longmynd Hotel, which we attended on Saturday 8th December 2007. Normally our Christmas parties just consist of food and copious amounts of alcohol, we don’t normally go for the disco party. This years venue however, offered a disco with our meal, which offered some other form of entertainment rather than drinking games!.
This year I have been to a few parties with very bad discos. I was starting to think that all DJ’s were stuck in a time warp of Motown music and cheesy 80’s pop. Whilst I don’t mind dancing to few songs from these eras, I think some DJ’s forget that there are other songs in the world other than “Buttercup baby” etc.
I am pleased to say that my faith in disco was restored on Saturday night, when a varied form of music was played, with just enough from every era to keep you on the dance floor, rather than 1 hour of the same thing and boredom forcing you to sit down! Other than the fact that the venue was so hot, I would have happily stayed on the dance floor all night, but lots of drinks were required to keep my fluid levels up!
If I ever require a disco in the future, I will certainly call Barry! Thanks for a great night.

Just wanted to drop you an email thanking you for your services at my 21st birthday party. The music you played was outstanding and many of my friends commented on this and have since asked for your number. The night was a total success from start to finish with thanks to you. All the requests were played and everyone commented on how professional you were that night. Im getting married next year and you are on the top of my list to contact for my entertainment as soon as our date is set. Once again thankyou very much for making my birthday a special night, sorry i didnt get to say goodnight but i was a little merry, hence why im mailing you today. Thanks Barry

Just thought we would drop you a line to say that “no-one could possibly put a price tag on the entertainment you provided!! It was amazing!! I was so worried because we booked you three weeks before the wedding, and we did not have a chance to talk at all as we were out of the country, but you knew exactly what you were doing!!! You played all the right music to keep the crowd going and the kids entertained. People kept coming up to me all night long asking how we heard about you!! You were incredible! People are still calling me and talking about the reception!! Bev and I are so happy we stumbled across your website, - we truly appreciate your time and attention to details and the fact that the dance floor was packed is a testament to your professionalism and experience and we hope to book you again in the future!!
